It's leftover night.

Hooray.

Watching TV.

Comments

I watched Monster Hunter with my Dad. Not quite as bad as I thought it was going to be, just the usual Hollywood “white savior” schlock that I might put on the TV a couple years from now while I’m working on the boring parts of my drawing to distract me. Ironically, I’ve been looking for a dumb movie that I can watch without having to use my brain for awhile now, I can’t watch well-written but emotionally-draining Pixar movies all the time...

I'm watching Russian Doll. It's a great show...also, I haven't watched too many movies this year.

Also, what kind of leftovers are you having? Do you mind if I take a bite?

Wings and some french fries...sure!

@jthrash @stuckathome Ironically, the last movie I watched (in theatres, no less!) was the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which is better as a video game movie but still not exactly Citizen Kane. Well, that and Birds of Prey.

I’m the opposite where I haven’t watched any shows this year, probably because a movie only requires 2 hours of my limited free time while a show requires closer to 10 or 20 hours total. Also, I want to get around to making my own cartoon and I don’t want to just copy what’s already popular now. The downside to being an animator is that watching TV (even live-action, which is mostly just photorealistic animation these days) feels like work now, it’s hard to go back to just watching something without analyzing it.

Oh, same.

I’m finding it hard to focus on anything these days, which is why I find Russian Doll and WandaVision so amusing because I thought I couldn’t get through them.
